Are you feeling stuck, unsure of who you’re becoming, or overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, or the weight of past experiences? Life can feel disorienting at times—whether you’re navigating a big transition, carrying the effects of trauma, or simply trying to find steady ground. You may be asking, Who am I now? Will I ever get over this? Where am I headed? And how do I move forward? These questions are common during the teen and young adult years, but they show up in all stages of life. No matter your age, the experience of feeling lost or unsure is a deeply human one, and you don’t have to face it alone.

I’m passionate about helping clients, with a focus on teens and young adults, make sense of their stories within their lives. I believe that the way we understand ourselves is through the ways our brains tell us our story. Our stories are often shaped by challenging, unfortunate, and even painful experiences that impact how we see ourselves and others and may limit what we believe is possible. Counseling gives us the chance to revisit those narratives with compassion and curiosity, where we can begin rewriting them in ways that restore hope, confidence, and connection. As we work together, I aim to help clients recognize their inherent value and develop a stronger sense of self-worth.

I work from an integrative, collaborative approach—drawing from Strengths-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family of origin issues, identity questions, self-worth struggles, relationship wounds, life transitions, or men’s issues, our work will be tailored to your needs. We’ll also focus on helping you understand and communicate your emotions more clearly—to yourself and to those you’re in relationship with—so that your inner and outer world can start to feel more aligned.

My personal journey to become a therapist is rooted in pain and growth that I was able to walk through thanks to the help of my own time in therapy. Some of my most painful and challenging times of my life were during my teenage and young adult years that sent me down paths of questioning my identity and purpose. These years often involved replaying my past, ruminating on the future, and questioning if life always had to feel this way. This questioning journey led me from Ohio to Tennessee and from my first career in accounting to seeking purpose in helping people through the challenging times in their lives. These professional and personal experiences have shown me how valuable seeking support, relational vulnerability, and truth is for all of us as people in all stages of life. My story has also led to a desire to help clients in their teenage and young adult lives after learning how crucial those years were for me. None of this would be possible without the challenging and compassionate care of my therapists along the way!

When I’m not in the therapy office or crunching numbers, you can probably find me doing something related to physical activity! I enjoy golfing with friends, going on hikes and runs, and watching sports (still related to physical activity). I’ve always felt that sports and physical activity are great ways to learn skills for life and build connection with others. These are some of the foundations of my life that still bring me great joy today (except when my Cleveland teams are losing, which is often)!

I’ve come to find that my favorite part of this work is building the therapeutic relationship with each unique individual. I believe it’s a privilege to hear someone’s story and be trusted in that space. I’d love to hear your story and walk alongside you on your journey. Please reach out if you’re ready to partner in your own healing journey as I’d be honored to help you!
