Clinical Specialties: Couples & Relationship Counseling (Premarital, Communication, Reconnection, Trust), Grief and Loss, Anxiety and Stress, Life Transitions
I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate some of life’s most tender and challenging seasons. You may be coming to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, grieving a loss, or simply wondering if life or your relationships could feel more meaningful and secure. I believe healing happens when we are deeply seen, compassionately understood, and gently guided toward hope and restoration.
My approach honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian faith into the counseling process in a respectful, grounded way, recognizing the powerful role faith can play in healing, resilience, and emotional renewal.
I use evidence-based therapies including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman-informed couples work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR to help clients heal from emotional wounds, reduce anxiety, and experience deeper connection. In couples therapy, I help partners move out of cycles of conflict and distance and into patterns of safety, trust, and emotional closeness. With individuals, I support you in understanding your story, making sense of your emotions, and finding practical tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients often describe me as warm, attentive, and encouraging. I strive to create a space where you can be honest, vulnerable, and fully yourself without fear of judgment. Therapy is a place where we can explore what hurts, what matters, and what God may be inviting you toward as you heal and grow.
Who I Work With
I work with adults and couples who long for healthier relationships, emotional healing, and a deeper sense of peace. Whether you are walking through grief, navigating change, or struggling in your marriage, you don’t have to carry it alone.
A Little More About Me
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and am a Certified SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich facilitator, trained in Gottman Level 1, EMDR, and Certified Grief Educator. I’ve also spent many years mentoring couples and walking alongside families through real-life challenges. I’ve been married for 29 years to my wonderful husband, and we have five grown children and two grandchildren. These are the relationships that continually shape my understanding of love, commitment, and grace.
