Brooke is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider dedicated to helping individuals heal and grow through compassionate, evidence-based care. After a successful career in education, Brooke felt a deep calling to support people in a more personal and transformative way. Inspired by the healing and therapists she experienced in her own life, she returned to graduate school to earn her Master’s in Counseling, focusing on trauma-informed care.
Known for her down-to-earth style and genuine personality, Brooke creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. She believes therapy should be honest, relatable, and free of judgement.
Brooke incorporates a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which are particularly effective for processing trauma and promoting emotional regulation. She utilizes Play Therapy for children to express and process their emotions and experiences in a safe and creative way. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients of all ages build coping skills, manage emotions, and navigate challenges. Her approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration, creating a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences and develop resilience.
With her background in education, Brooke has a natural ability to connect with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She has a particular passion for working with those impacted by trauma, addiction, anxiety depression, ADHD, and life transitions. She is also deeply passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ population, providing affirming and inclusive care to individuals navigating identity, relationships, and the unique challenges faced by the community.
Her expertise in both evidence-based practices and creative interventions allows her to tailor her approach to each client’s needs and goals.
Outside of the therapy room, Brooke enjoys spending time painting, reading, playing board/card games, watching movies, and being in nature or on the water. She is married and has an adult daughter and two fur babies. She believes in the importance of balance, self-care, and finding joy in everyday moments.
Brooke is honored to walk alongside her clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery, offering support, guidance, and tools for a brighter future.
