Our lives are a constant series of adjustments to new demands, new environments, and changes within ourselves. Challenges with adapting are especially common during late adolescence and early adulthood as we tackle some of the biggest personal developments: figuring out identity, establishing independence, and creating meaningful relationships with others. If you've found yourself stuck, spiraling, or with mental health symptoms setting in, these feelings do not have to be permanent. Outside feedback and support can help get you back on track and thriving. I am passionate about working alongside people as they develop into new versions of themselves, both as emerging adults facing these developmental challenges for the first time, and throughout adulthood as we revisit them again and again.

Developing clarity and connection are at the heart of my therapy practice. My personal style blends deep listening, humor, perseverance, and a bit of detective work to help you notice your own patterns that might be self-limiting and support you developing the skills to reach your therapy goals. I am a lifelong creative who thrives on problem solving and a good weekend project. Engaging in hobbies outside the office brings me purpose, awe, and clarity and that's how I'm able to show up and be fully present with you. In recent years I have been captivated with growing dahlias and expanded my garden with new varieties every year. I also dabble in woodworking, painting, and am teaching myself to quilt. I did my undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and completed my graduate degree in Human Development Counseling, Clinical Mental Health at Vanderbilt University in 2015. I've been practicing therapy for over 10 years in both community mental health and private practice, and truly feel it is a calling. I’m also a qualified supervisor for LPC licensure.
